How to fix the broken package problems in Ubuntu in synaptic manager

Howdy guys, Its been a long time since i posted one.S i had cam with something very helpful for a new Ubuntu beginner , as u may tried to update the Synaptic manager for update ,some packages may get broken and this will prevent you to install any other packages.So to solve it you can open the terminal and type the following two commands: Command 1: 
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Command 2:

sudo apt-get install -f

Wonder!! it is fixed now...... if not fixed then tell me... bye guys
